Who we are
Serenity Studio Amsterdam operates a short-stay studio rental in Amsterdam, Netherlands. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@serenity.amsterdam.
What we collect and why
- Booking requests. When you send a reservation request we collect your name, email, phone number, requested dates, guest count, and any message — used solely to respond to and manage your booking. We store it in our database and email you the confirmation and any updates.
- Reviews. If you submit a post-stay review, your name, rating, and comment are stored and shown publicly on the site.
- Technical logs. Our server keeps standard request logs (including IP address) for security and to keep the site running.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies needed to keep the site secure and remember your choices are always on. Analytics is off until you agree to it via the banner.

Analytics and your consent
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It runs under Google Consent Mode and stays disabled — setting no analytics cookies — until you choose Accept analytics on the cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time:
Done — the banner will reappear next time you visit the site.
Sharing and third parties
We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the services that make the site work: Google (Analytics and reCAPTCHA), our email delivery, and our hosting provider. Google may process its data outside the EU under its own terms.
How long we keep data
Booking records are kept as long as needed to manage the reservation and meet legal and accounting obligations, then removed. Reviews remain until you ask us to remove them. Analytics data follows Google Analytics' retention settings.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to stop using it. Email info@serenity.amsterdam and we will respond. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
